1664 LW (Lippold Weber, mintmaster) AR 1-1/2 Thaler. Hand holding laurel wreath above head of leaping horse; below a landscape with a mining scene / SINCERE ET CONSTANTER ANNO (date). Crowned CL monogram within wreath; fourteen crowned shield of arms around with denomination stamped (1 1/2) in exergue. Struck in celebration of the lodes and production at the Harz mines, where a significant amount of silver for circulating coinage originated. Housed in an oversized holder.
